"BHARAT CARAVANS" is a pioneering Online Caravan Booking Company in India that is dedicated to promoting Rural and Eco Tourism at lesser-known destinations. With a vision to offer unique and immersive travel experiences, BHARAT CARAVANS is set to launch a range of Motorhomes in various sizes to cater to different traveller preferences.
Booking process:
Check Availability:
• Select you preferred City, where you want to avail our Caravan rental facility by clicking on “Select City” dropdown option in our Mobile App / Website.
Check Availability:
• Verify availability for your desired dates online at our Mobile App / website or by contacting customer service.
• Provide information about number of Adults & Kids travelling:
• Provide the details about number of Adults and Kids (of below 12 years of age) travelling with you, so that our App / website could suggest you right size of caravan based on size, amenities, and budget, subject to availability.
Choose your Caravan; then Preferred Pick and Drop Location (from the given options)
• Choose your best suited Caravans suggested by our Mobile App/ Website on the basis of details provided by you. You can also choose your preferred “Pick & Drop” Locations from the given list in our Mobile App & Website.
Review Conditions:
• Read and understand our 'conditions of booking and cancellation' as they apply to all reservations.
Make a Reservation:
• Fill out the online form and submit it. Provide your name, contact info, travel dates, and pick-up/drop-off locations.
Payment and Confirmation:
• Pay the booking fee. Once processed, receive a confirmation via email and/or WhatsApp with reservation details. The full payment has to be paid at the time of booking only, no part / advance payment is allowed.
Pick-Up and Orientation:
• Arrive at the designated location on the pick-up date for orientation on operating the caravan. Inspect the vehicle before signing and in case you find any fault immediately bring it to our notice.
Enjoy Your Trip:
• Start your journey, by following our rules and guidelines. Contact Us for support during your trip.
Final Payment and Feedback:
• Settle any remaining balance and provide feedback on your experience to help us improve our services!
Payments:
Booking Fee:
• To lock in your reservation, booking fee is required. This secures your caravan and chosen dates. Please note, that in case of any cancellations, the booking fee will be refundable as per slabs mentioned in the Cancellation policy only.
Payment Methods:
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, UPI, bank transfers, and other online payment options.
Caravan Pricing:
• SPRINTER - Compact Size Caravans (for up to 2 Adults & 2 Kids of below 12 years of Age): Rs. 14,999/- per day.
• WONDERER - Medium Size Caravans (for up to 4 Adults & 2 Kids of below 12 years of Age): Rs. 24,999/- per day.
• WOYAGER - Large Size Caravans (for up to 6 Adults): Rs. 34,999/- per day.
• Prices may vary based on the caravan’s size, amenities, and the season.
Extra Charges:
• Any expenses that is not covered in the package such as Additional Amenities, Campsite Food, Lodging, Serviceand Activity Charges etc.
Security Deposit:
• A refundable security deposit may require at pick-up. This covers any potential damages or extra charges. We’ll refund it after you return the caravan in good condition, minus any applicable charges.
Travel Regions:
• Currently our caravans are available in Guwahati and covering neighboring states such as Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Upper Assam and Mizoram. Some regions might have extra fees or require permits. Our CRM Team will let you know about any additional costs when you book.
Longer Rentals and Discounts:
• Planning a longer trip? We offer discounts for weekly and monthly rentals. Just ask about our long-term rental deals when you book.
Cancellation and refund:
• All Bookings can be modified latest 3 working days prior to the Onboarding date.
• 70% of the Total Booking Amount will be refunded if cancellation is done minimum 7 days prior to the Onboarding date after adjusting GST and service fee.
• 50% of the Total Booking Amount will be refunded if cancellation is done minimum 5 days prior to the Onboarding date after adjusting GST and service fee.
• 30% of the Total Booking Amount will be refunded if cancellation is done minimum 3 days prior to the Onboarding date after adjusting GST and service fee.
• No refund, if canceled within 3 days of Onboarding Date.
• Bharat Caravans will not be liable or responsible for non-refund of any third party booking cancellations. In case of any third-party booking cancellations, refunds will be applicable as per property policy only.
• The refund will be initiated within 7 working days from the date of cancelation.
• The amount of refund will be done through bank transfer.
Changes to Booking:
Modification Requests:
• If you wish to make any changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. All modification requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Date Changes:
• Requests to change your booking dates must be made at least 14 days before the original check-in date. Date changes within 14 days of the check-in date may not be accommodated and could be subject to cancellation fees.
Upgrades and Downgrades:
Upgrades to a different caravan model or package are allowed, subject to availability and additional costs. Downgrades are also possible, but no refund will be given if the new booking is of lesser value than the original.
Extension of Stay:
• Requests to extend your stay must be made at least 2 days before the original check-out date. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.
Cancellation and Refunds:
• If changes to your booking result in the need to cancel, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Please refer to our cancellation terms for more details.
Confirmation of Changes:
• All changes must be confirmed in writing by our customer service team. Verbal agreements are not considered binding until you receive written confirmation from us.
Special Requests:
• We will do our best to accommodate any special requests related to your booking changes. However, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met.
Publication of Customers:
• By using our services, you agree that we may share your reviews, testimonials, photos, or videos of your trip on our website, social media channels, brochures, and other promotional materials. We won’t share personal information like your full name or contact details without your consent. If you prefer not to have your content published, please let us know in writing when you book or during your trip.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
• We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable.
• You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods or cancel the service at any time without notice to you.
• You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, except as expressly stated by us. This means we provide them without any representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
• In no case shall the (company), our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from your use of the service or any products procured using the service.
• This includes but is not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.
• Notwithstanding anything contained herein above the absolute liability for any deficiency in service shall not be exceeding the amount of fee received by us on any account.
Insurance
• Guests traveling with us are covered by basic vehicle insurance. In case of an emergency that requires evacuation and hospitalization, it is the guest’s responsibility to have adequate medical and travel insurance to cover in-hospital medical expenses and associated costs once admitted to the hospital.
Governing law and jurisdiction
• This agreement shall be governed by and construed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kolkata, India. By using our services, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections to such jurisdiction or venue.
• In the event of a dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this agreement, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation.
• If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitrator, the arbitrator shall be appointed by the Act.
• The place of arbitration shall be Kolkata, India, and the language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding on the parties, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
